- Stay Covered for the Entire Game
Protection remains active from the opening kickoff through the end of regulation and any overtime period.
- Check the Settlement in My Bets
If a covered player exits because of injury and satisfies FanDuel’s protection conditions, the adjustment will appear in My Bets when the wager settles.
What Counts as a Covered Injury?
Bet Protect+ applies when an eligible player exits because of an injury and meets FanDuel’s settlement requirements. The protection does not cover a player who leaves or loses playing time because of:
- An ejection
- A benching
- A coaching decision
- Poor performance
- A tactical substitution
- Reduced snaps or playing time
- A suspension or disciplinary decision
The reason for the player’s departure matters. A disappointing performance is not treated as an injury.
