How to Activate the Early Exit Program
- Sign up for a new DraftKings account
Open the DraftKings app or website and sign in to your account.
- Opt In to the Promo
Locate the Early Exit Program promo banner and click “Opt In” to enroll.
- Make a Qualifying Bet
Make a qualifying pre-match full-game player prop, single, or parlay/SGP wager.
- Play Covered Sports
Ensure your bet is within Early Exit’s coverage windows (NFL 1st quarter, NBA 1st quarter, MLB pitcher before 3 outs, etc.).
- Get Protected
If your player exits due to injury within the Early Exit timeframe, your stake will be credited back (for singles) or your parlay odds recalculated.

My Experience with Early Exit
At first, I wasn’t sure if Early Exit would actually make a difference. Then it kicked in twice in one week:
- MLB Pitcher Prop → I bet on a starter to go over strikeouts, but he left after facing one batter. Normally, that’s a loss, but DraftKings refunded my stake in credits within 24 hours.
